Welcome to the Roomah blog. Have you ever found yourself at the hardware store, staring at shelves-worth of furnace filters, trying to remember if you need a 16x25x5, or a 14x25x2. And didn’t I pay a whole lot less the last time? Where did it buy them?

If this, or similar situations sound familiar to you, then Roomah is here to help. Roomah is an app that helps you manage the things you own. It carefully organizes the things you own by location in your home. Keep track of the details of each item including model numbers, year of manufacture, and serial number. Then, link the item to a user-defined location in your home.

Keep images of your items and locations by attaching them within Roomah, that way you can keep a visual record of what you have.

You may ask ‘what else can I use it for?’ Well, the sky’s really the limit. Keeping track of the appliances and replacements parts in your home is one use, but there are lots of other possibilities.

Keep a list of ideas for the future. See a couch you like? take a picture and add it as an item. record the price and other info for future reference.
Thinking about new paint colours? Take a picture and record the swatch information.
Have a pile of things you want to sell? Keep track of them and when you're ready, you have the details handy for creating an online post.
